Meeting RoomThe Revolutionary War seen through the lives of hard-working New Jerseyans
The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts explores American history with a focus on the life and stories of 18th- and 19th-century craftsmen and artisans. “By connecting the lives of people and their stories, we share the past as we imagine the future.”
This program explores the impact of the American Revolution on New Jersey. The presentation includes background information on the war, including major battles and how the war began. Moreover, they’ll discuss everyday New Jersey civilians, who had varied perspectives on the conflict, and how they were affected. From ironworkers to students to housewives and farmers, learn about the real-life people who have helped shape our revolutionary history.
