Colonial life wasn’t all chores and hard work, people found plenty of ways to relax, celebrate, and have fun. In Pastimes & Play, a costumed interpreter from NJ History Alive explores the games, entertainment, and social traditions enjoyed by early American colonists.
Through lively storytelling and historical demonstrations, audiences will discover how people gathered, played, and “kicked up their heels” in the 18th century.
Registration is suggested but not required.
