Scammers are becoming more and more savvy in their efforts to take your money and/or identity, especially by pretending to be from a government agency. Stay up to date on impostor scams to understand the top ways to spot and avoid them.
Open to adults. Registration is is suggested but not required, and opens on August 3.
About our speaker
Mark Thompson is a life-long NJ resident and retired research librarian. He worked at AT&T, public libraries, and was Learning Resources Director at Middlesex County Library. Mark is also a gourd crafter, growing, carving and creating birdhouses, canteens, and bowls made from dried gourds and pressed flowers. He and his wife, Joan, are also professional musicians, have performed together, and currently enjoy singing in choir concerts together.
Main Library
The Main Library on Plainfield Avenue next to the Edison Train Station. The library offers an extensive children’s room, a Meeting Room/Event Space, and a dedicated Maker Space.
