Step into history with a special live performance featuring Dave Holland of American Historical Theatre!

Dave will be portraying Benjamin Franklin, one of America’s most fascinating and influential figures. Born into humble beginnings as the 15th of 17 children, Franklin rose to become a statesman, inventor, and champion of public good.

Through engaging storytelling and audience interaction, “Dr. Franklin” will share his experiences shaping the nation, from helping draft the Declaration of Independence to serving as ambassador to France and contributing to the U.S. Constitution. Discover the mind behind inventions like the lightning rod and bifocals, and learn how his passion for knowledge led to the creation of libraries, fire companies, and other vital institutions.

This lively program brings history to life with wit, wisdom, and the enduring spirit of one of America’s founding thinkers.

Open to all ages. Registration is suggested but not required.

Founded in 1992, American Historical Theatre is a nonprofit organization dedicated to making history engaging and accessible. Through first-person historical interpretation, their performers invite audiences to connect with the past, fostering empathy and an understanding of the power of individual choice.
