Edison Public Library
(Boston) Tea Party
ages 6 - 11
Saturday, August 15
11:00am - 12:00pm
Main Library
Children's RoomCalling all young rebels and history hunters: it’s time to spill the tea and start a revolution!
To celebrate America 250, you’ll step back in time to 1773 for a morning of secret signals and colonial "sabotage." You’ll get to design your own adorable felt tea bag bookmark—the perfect souvenir for a patriot who loves a good story—while snacking on "Liberty Treats" and herbal tea. Join us for a high-energy history party where you can dress up, get crafty, and discover how a giant splash in the Boston Harbor changed the world forever!
Open to kids ages 6 - 11. Registration not required, but space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Call or visit the library with any questions.
