William Smith, Retired Army Lt. Colonel will share with you how meditation can help you tap into the peace within. Begin the Spring by learning a simple technique that provides many benefits and fulfillment. William has been meditating for many years and will demonstrate how meditation can enrich one's life, personally, professionally, and spiritually. There will be a chance to try this out.
About the presenter:
William Smith, a retired Army Lieutenant Colonel engineer, has a master’s degree in Geographic Information Systems from the University of South Carolina. As an Army officer, he pioneered this new technology within the Department of Defense. William is a graduate of the Command and General Staff College and has held many leadership positions during his successful 20-year military career.
William has always been passionate about meditation which he has incorporated in his life for over 50 years. Since retiring he has spent a lot of time volunteering as a summer camp director for 22 years; teaching children how to meditate and inspiring them to incorporate ethical living into one’s life.
He has taught numerous classes on this important topic to a variety of audiences. William enjoys traveling and giving talks on meditation in the US and internationally.
