A major part of what helps us to be more resilient are some of our best qualities already within us - particularly our strengths of gratitude, kindness, and hope.
A major part of what helps us to be more resilient are some of our best qualities already within us - particularly our strengths of gratitude, kindness, and hope.
Kindness, resilience, and hope allow those who face adversities in life to come back, at least as strong as before, rather than letting difficulties, traumatic events, or failure overcome them and drain their resolve. Research has shown that people faced with high stress and those with resilient outlooks are less vulnerable to physical and emotional illness. However, another way to look at resilience is that it is simply hope and hope is powerful. It’s clear that people are in need of extra kindness and compassion, especially during these times. As a community, we are extremely resilient, especially when we work together. Meditation can be a powerful tool to help tap into our best strengths. Join Nirav Sheth for this powerful workshop which will include a short meditation sitting at the end of the program.
