This world we live in is a stressful place and there are many factors that can have a negative impact on our daily lives. By befriending our mind we can wipe the slate clean and detoxify our negative thought patterns and calm the body. Join Dr. Manish Saggar, a long time meditator, and learn how to implement a simple yet very powerful meditation technique that can be life changing.
About the presenter:
Dr. Manish Saggar is an assistant professor in the department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University School of Medicine. His lab is dedicated to developing computational methods that could allow for anchoring psychiatric diagnosis into biological features. He received his doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin and completed his postdoctoral training at Stanford. As part of his doctoral work, he developed computational methods to understand how brain activity changes with intensive meditation training.
