Looking for information on voter registration?
The Metro-Jersey Section of National Council of Jewish Women (NCJW) will be visiting the Main Library and the North Edison Branch to provide information on and assistance with voter registration. NCJW's ultimate goal is that every eligible voter is able to register to vote, cast a ballot, and engage in all levels of government in a deep and meaningful way. The voter registration deadline for the 2024 General Election in New Jersey is October 15, 2024.
Ages 17 and up. Drop by and speak with NCJW volunteers.
NCJW was founded in 1893 in Chicago by Hannah Solomon, and is a grassroots social justice organization of volunteers and advocates of any gender, ethnicity, race and national origin. Inspired by Jewish values, NCJW strives for social justice by improving the quality of life for women, children and families and by safeguarding individual rights and freedoms. The Metro-Jersey Section in Edison, NJ recently celebrated its 50th anniversary.
The Main Library on Plainfield Avenue next to the Edison Train Station. The library offers an extensive children’s room, a Meeting Room/Event Space, and a dedicated Maker Space.
