FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) students learn to think like engineers.
FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC) students learn to think like engineers. Teams design, build, and code robots to compete in an alliance format against other teams. Robots are built from a reusable platform and can be coded using a variety of levels of Java-based programming. Meet the current team members, learn about FTC’s competitions, and participate in a hands-on activity that mimics elements of a competitive game, including a robot, a portion of the game field, and some game elements.
Grades 7-11.
Registration is required and begins July 24 at 9:30 am.

The Main Library on Plainfield Avenue next to the Edison Train Station. The library offers an extensive children’s room, a Meeting Room/Event Space, and a dedicated Maker Space.
