Meeting Room 2Prepare for an English proficiency test that measures reading and listening skills for English learners. Best for Intermediate to Advanced learners.
The CASAS STEPS assessment can be used to show English-language learning progress, identify areas for improvement, and help with education and career planning. This course will prepare you with the skills for this specific assessment, as well as any other English proficiency tests.
This class will focus on building test-taking skills through:
- practice assessments
- targeted English lessons
- and guided work through a CASAS STEPS preparation workbook.
Students will have opportunities to:
- review key skills
- become familiar with the test format
- and build confidence before taking the assessment
*Please note that the Edison Library can provide you with testing locations but we do not adminster the CASAS assessment or any other standardized English Proficiency assessments at the library*
