Sparkle, shine, and celebrate the freedom to read during Banned Books Week!

Sparkle, shine, and celebrate the freedom to read during Banned Books Week! Kids will be able to to pick out a popular challenged children's book and use colorful rhinestones, stickers, and gem applicators to bedazzle its cover into a unique work of art. It’s a fun, hands-on way for young readers to express their creativity while supporting great stories. All books and craft supplies are provided, and everyone gets to take their sparkling masterpiece home!

Open to kids 6 - 11 years old. Registration not required, but space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Call or visit the library with any questions.
