What item can you not leave home without? If you said your phone, this lecture is for you! If you said your wallet, you should probably come too! The digital wallets on our smartphones allow us to go about our daily lives without ever needing to pull out our actual wallets. In this presentation, we’ll review the basic features of the most popular digital wallets: Apple Wallet and Google Wallet and talk about their many uses beyond purchases. We’ll also discuss features/considerations for security and privacy.

Open to adults. Registration is is suggested but not required, and opens on July 6.

About our speaker

Todd Smircina, recently and gratefully retired as a Sales and Design Trainer in the home design industry, has transferred his fondness for public speaking as a volunteer in AARP's Speaker's Bureau. AARP has a variety of presentations designed to enhance and enrich our senior years, and Todd loves sharing them with everyone.
