In November, we'll be discussing The Nurse’s Secret by Amanda Skenandore.

The Alienist meets The Light of Luna Park in a fascinating historical novel based on the little-known story of America's first nursing school, as a young female grifter in 1880s New York evades the police by conning her way into Bellevue Hospital's training school for nurses.

Print copies of The Nurse’s Secret will be available to check out at the North Edison Branch on reserve for book club members approximately four weeks before this book club meeting. Digital copies may be available to check out via Libby and Hoopla. For more title availability, please visit our online catalog.
