Saturday, August 29
2:00pm - 4:00pm
Summer Reading
Have you ever thought about how lace was made? The Lost Art Lacers of North Jersey tell you all about bobbin lacemaking through a slide show/demonstration and top it all off with try-it lace pillows for you to try your hand. All supplies and teachers provided. Limited to 12 participants for the try-it session but the slide show lecture and demonstration are open to all.
Lost Art Lacers of North Jersey are a chartered chapter of the International Organization of Lace, Inc. Their purpose is to preserve the art and craft of lacemaking, and to stimulate interest in and appreciation for all facets of the history of lacemaking.
Open to adults. Registration required for try-it session. Registered spots will be honored for the first 5 minutes, and then will be opened to waitlist guests.
