With this kit, YOU will be the camera!
Photograph - noun; a picture made using a camera, in which an image is focused onto film or other light-sensitive material and then made visible and permanent by chemical treatment.
With this kit, YOU will be the camera - arranging small, flat objects on light-sensitive paper, leaving that composition in the sun for a few minutes, then plunging the paper in water (a chemical treatment!) for a minute before letting it dry flat.
Ages 8 & up.
Kits are limited. You must be present to pick up a kit - sorry moms & dads, if your child is not present, you may not take home a kit for them (but you can take a kit for you).
The Main Library on Plainfield Avenue next to the Edison Train Station. The library offers an extensive children’s room, a Meeting Room/Event Space, and a dedicated Maker Space.
