Makers SpaceUse handspun yarn to craft a one of a kind piece for America 250
In celebration of America 250 join other teens in making a red, white and blue woven bookmark. Supplies will be provided. Registration Required
Handspun yarn in was a household necessity, primarily produced using wool from sheep, often on large wheels. It was used to create clothing and textiles, with fibers like wool requiring washing and carding before being spun into thread for weaving or knitting.
Main Library
The Main Library on Plainfield Avenue next to the Edison Train Station. The library offers an extensive children’s room, a Meeting Room/Event Space, and a dedicated Maker Space.
