Multi-Purpose Room

Join us for a cozy, creative evening at the library as we transform wax into something wonderful!

In this hands-on workshop, participants will create their own custom 4-ounce candle using materials and techniques provided by Lux Candle Lab. 

Guided step-by-step, you’ll blend your own unique fragrance from a variety of scents and pour your candle into a stylish container to take home. No experience is needed, just bring your creativity! Along the way, you’ll learn the basics of candle making, from scent mixing to pouring and decorating.

All supplies will be provided. Space is limited, registration required. Open to teens and adults, ages 13+. 

Lux Candle Lab, located in Metuchen, NJ, offers a unique experience for candle-making enthusiasts through its BYOB classes. Guests can immerse themselves in the art of crafting personalized candles while enjoying a creative atmosphere. The studio also hosts parties and art classes, making it a versatile venue for celebrations and artistic expression. Lux Candle Lab is dedicated to providing an engaging and memorable experience for all visitors.
