During the workshop, you’ll create your own marbled design on paper based on the Turkish Ebru tradition.
Immerse yourself in a lively, hands-on creative experience! In this workshop, you’ll watch an instructor demonstrate the mesmerizing process of marbling on water while sharing the materials, techniques, and rich history behind Ebru, the traditional Turkish art of paper marbling. After the demonstration, you’ll have the opportunity to design and create your own unique marbled artwork on paper.
No experience is necessary. This session is ideal for beginners and anyone curious about trying a new artistic medium. We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing. While we provide aprons, marbling can be a bit messy, so it’s best to come prepared for a fun, hands-on experience.
This program is open to participants ages 18 and older. Advance registration is required.
