Step back in time and discover the practical artistry of the 18th century by crafting your own colonial-style tin punch lantern. Using simple tools and aluminum foil, participants will learn how early settlers created beautiful, patterned light sources that were essential for safety and nighttime chores. Join us to explore this traditional folk art and take home a glowing piece of history!
Open to kids ages 5 - 11. Registration not required, but space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Call or visit the library with any questions.
