Jon Gabry is a DeafBlind artist from Kearny, New Jersey. He was born with Usher syndrome, a hereditary condition that affects vision and hearing. He is both deaf and blind. He communicates by reading Braille and using Tactile American Sign Language (TASL). Jon combines a variety of materials and techniques so that people can experience and enjoy his art using their sight and touch. His work has been featured in a number of exhibits throughout New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
