Celebrate your favorite stories this National Library Week with a hands-on crafting tribute to the books you love! From the epic dragon world of Wings of Fire to the hilarious antics of Dog Man and Diary of a Wimpy Kid, we’re bringing our favorite characters to life through awesome art projects. Whether you want to design a Baby-Sitters Club friendship bracelet or draw your own graphic novel panels, there is a station for every kind of reader. Join us at the library to geek out over great books, get creative, and take home something awesome. It’s a party for book lovers, and we can’t wait to see what you create!
Open to kids 5 - 11. Registration not required, but space is limited and is on a first-come, first-served basis. Call or visit the library with any questions.
The Main Library on Plainfield Avenue next to the Edison Train Station. The library offers an extensive children’s room, a Meeting Room/Event Space, and a dedicated Maker Space.
