This workshop for high school students introduces teens to the fundamentals of entrepreneurship in an engaging, hands-on format led by experienced mentors from SCORE Central Jersey.
Stop talking about your idea… build it!
Over the course of one 2.5-hour session, students with a business idea—whether it’s a product, service, or side hustle—will learn how to evaluate and develop their concept using a simplified one-page business plan. Through guided activities, participants will explore customer needs, the problems their idea solves, potential competition, and the basics of how a business could generate revenue. By the end of the workshop, each student will leave with a clearer understanding of the feasibility of their idea and a simple one-page outline for their business idea.
Registration is required, includes five questions, and begins Monday, May 4. Open to teens in grades 9 to 12. To ensure that mentors are available to guide you during this workshop, please answer ALL required questions.
Participation is limited to 16 attendees, with a minimum of eight required. A light lunch will be provided.
