Special attention is given to the breweries of Newark NJ, once considered the brewing capital of the United States. Learn about the survivors of prohibition, and their fates as the industry went through consolidations in the 1950's and 60's. Anheuser-Busch recently closed the only remaining corporate brewery in New Jersey, and we'll talk about the state of local craft brewing and home brewing.
