Edison Public Library
A look at America's pastime from behind the keyboard
Ed Alstrom is in his 23rd season as the weekend organist at Yankee Stadium, a dream he’s had since his childhood. In this presentation, he will talk about his job, demonstrate how it gets done, and tell stories about his experiences at the stadium. Demonstrations, funny anecdotes, recorded artifacts, and live organ playing are all a part of this fast-paced and entertaining show. This program will fascinate Yankee fans and baseball fans in general who would like a “behind-the-scenes” glance at an oft-overlooked part of the baseball experience.
