Music Professor Gilad Harel examines how Sondheim’s intricate score and layered lyrics weave together art, love, and legacy, inspired by painter Georges Seurat. Discover how complex harmonies and poignant storytelling shine in songs like “Finishing the Hat” and “Move On.” Uncover why this masterpiece remains a defining work in musical theater history.
