Understanding Anxiety and How It Works
Presented by CALM Therapy
Friday, April 24
2:00pm - 3:00pm
North Edison Temporary Branch
Multi-Purpose RoomA gentle introduction to what anxiety actually is, why we have it, and simple strategies for working with it rather than against it.
Join us for an exploration of how worry shows up in your life, what triggers it, how it functions, and the beliefs or past experiences that may be fueling a need for constant vigilance. Through mindfulness-based practices and somatic awareness, this presentation will offer practical tools to help interrupt the worry cycle and reconnect with a grounded, present-moment experience.
