Join us for a special Ramadan storytime feature author Aysha Lakhani as we reads her book 'Alya and the Eid Moon'
Ramadan and Eid Mubarak! We're celebrating at the library with a special storytime and activity with author Aysha Lakhani, as she reads her book Alya and the Eid Moon!
"Alya and her family are preparing for Eid, but there’s one problem - no one has seen the moon yet! Join Alya as she searches for the Eid moon with the help of her family."
Aysha Lakhani is the author of Alya and the Eid Moon. Born and raised in Central Jersey, she and her sister Hanaa were inspired to write Islamic children stories after starting their families. Aysha loves celebrating holidays, discovering new stories with her daughters, and helping children learn about traditions with wonder and excitement. She is thrilled to share Alya’s moon-searching adventure with Edison!
