Discover How Rockets Work!
Discover what Rocketry is through interactive activities. Understand the basics of rockets and their purpose. Learn about the American Rocketry Challenge as well as Rockets4Schools competitions and how to be a part of a rocketry team!
The American Rocketry Challenge is the world’s largest rocket contest with nearly 5,000 students nationwide competing each year. The contest gives middle and high school students the opportunity to design, build and launch model rockets and hands-on experience solving engineering problems. Meet members of Team Mach Lightspeed, a local high school rocketry team that is competing in the American Rocketry Challenge. Open to ages 8 to 16 and their parents/guardians. Registration is not required.
