BP, Glucose, BMI and other testing
Did you know many adults have persistently high blood pressure without realizing it, and show no obvious symptoms? That’s why hypertension is often called the “silent killer”—most individuals only learn they have it after experiencing a serious cardiovascular event such as a stroke or heart attack. APSEA was created on the premise that eliminating hypertension and diabetes in the community depends not just on clinical care, but also on community-based screenings that emphasize early detection, education, and lifestyle interventions.
The APSEA’s trained volunteers will provide basic measurements—blood pressure, blood glucose, and BMI/fat percentage—along with preventive health education so you can get a jump on living your best life.
