Meeting RoomA harmonica tribute to Django Reinhardt
Enter the world of Jazz Manouche and the music of jazz legend Django Reinhardt, with a tribute by harmonicist Yvonnick Prené. Inspired by the collaborations between Django Reinhardt and Larry Adler, Prené brings harmonica back into the language of Jazz Manouche, a musical setting where it has always belonged.
Yvonnick Prené is a singular voice in modern jazz, a chromatic harmonica virtuoso whose work as a performer, composer, bandleader, and educator has made him a fixture on the international jazz scene. Based in the New York City area, he is widely recognized as one of today’s most innovative harmonicists.
