Alebrijes are vibrant, colorful fantastical creatures that are a form of Mexican folk art. Originating in Mexico City in the 1930s with Pedro Linares Lopez, alebrijes have evolved into a celebrated art form, particularly in Oaxaca, where they are now a major part of the local culture. Join us in making our own- all materials will be provided on a first come first serve basis.
