program on solar and lunar eclipses.  A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon
passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby obscuring the view of the Sun
from a small part of the Earth, totally or partially.

A lunar eclipse occurs when the Moon moves into the Earth's shadow, causing
the Moon to be darkened. join us for this informative program.
