Join Agastya and Hrishi from Health For Humanity for an introduction to the basics of heart health and First Aid for students.
Agastya and Hrishi from Health For Humanity will discuss the importance of first aid, different first aid skills/techniques, and much more.
Every year, 356,000 people have out-of-hospital cardiac arrest. The American Red Cross estimates that 100,000 to 200,000 lives would be saved annually if proper CPR was conducted. Knowing basic first aid skills can minimize the potentially detrimental impact of spontaneous health complications.
This curriculum was created by EMT, CPR, and Basic Life Support certified leaders from Health For Humanity.
For students in grades 5 through 9 (ages 10 to 15). Registration is suggested but not required.
