Learn about the Alzheimer's Association and available care and support tools, programs and services and general community support.

Presented by the Alzheimer's Association Greater NJ Chapter. Attendees will:

  • Learn the difference between Alzheimer's and dementia and the latest prevalence and incidence data.
  • Review disease stages, risk factors, research highlights and the importance of early detection, diagnosis, and early care management.
  • Participate in shared learning and focused conversation about the Alzheimer's journey, the role of caregiving and development of effective communication skills.
  • Explore volunteer leadership roles in care and support, development, and special events, and community program development.
